La pianta ha una circonferenza di chioma di 50mt, considerato per questo uno degli alberi più grandi al mondo, e le sue fronde erano colme di ricci proprio come un giovane castagno.
E' molto affascinante trovarsi di fronte a un esemplare di questo genere e tutto ciò mi ha fatto riflettere sul significato dell'Essenza che si estrae dai suoi fiori: SWEET CHESTNUT.
